Where the money goes
Three decisions account for most of the difference between a good machine at this budget and a disappointing one.
Spend a third of the money here, and do not apologise for it
At 1080p the graphics card decides almost everything you will notice. A faster processor cannot render a frame the card has not drawn, so a budget spread evenly across eight parts produces a machine that is mediocre at the one job it was bought for.
This is the part of the build where price and performance track each other most closely, and the point of diminishing returns sits well above what this budget reaches — so every rupee moved here is a rupee that shows up on screen.

Six cores, and the cooler in the box is genuinely enough
Six cores with simultaneous multithreading is the practical floor for a game released this year. Below that you start seeing stutter in open-world titles that no amount of graphics card fixes.
What you do not need at this budget is the highest-clocked chip in the family. The lower-power parts run inside what the bundled cooler can handle, which means the machine stays quiet — and a computer you can hear from across the room is the thing people regret about a cheap build long after they have stopped noticing the frame rate.
A processor you never hear is worth more than two hundred extra megahertz.
The part everybody cuts, and the one that takes the rest with it
A cabinet-bundled power supply saves around a thousand rupees. It is also the component we replace most often under warranty, and it rarely fails politely — a bad supply can take the motherboard and the drive with it.
A rated unit with real headroom over what this machine draws means the fan stays slow and the capacitors stay cool. This is the one line item on the list where the spend is insurance rather than performance, and it is the saving we argue against most often.
Nobody has ever regretted the power supply they did not save money on.
What this machine will and will not do
At 1080p it will run current titles at high settings at a frame rate that suits a 75Hz or 100Hz monitor, and older or competitive titles far above that. It is a comfortable machine for the resolution most people are actually playing at.
At 1440p it will run, at medium settings, in most things. We would not specify it for that, and we would rather say so here than have you find out after the invoice. If 1440p is the goal, the next guide up is the honest answer.
It is not a video-editing or 3D-rendering machine. Those want more memory and, for rendering, a different class of card entirely — spending this budget on that job produces something that does neither well.

Questions people ask
Can you build a good gaming PC under ₹50,000 in 2026?
Yes, at 1080p. This budget reaches a six-core processor, a current-generation graphics card, 16GB of memory and an NVMe drive, assembled and tested. What it does not reach is comfortable 1440p, and any guide telling you otherwise is quoting prices it cannot sell you at.
Will this run at 1440p?

Is 16GB of RAM enough for gaming in 2026?
For gaming, yes — and two sticks matter more than the total. A single 16GB stick is a few hundred rupees cheaper and costs roughly 15% of your frame rate because it halves the memory bandwidth. It is the saving we talk customers out of most often.
Do you assemble it, or do I?
We assemble, cable and stress-test it in the workshop at Lamington Road, Mumbai, and that is included in the total shown. You can also buy the parts loose and build it yourself.
Can I upgrade this machine later?
That is part of why it is specified this way. The cabinet, the power supply and the board are chosen with headroom, so the graphics card and the memory can both be upgraded later without replacing anything around them.
