RJ Digital Alliance — Engineering the future

Warranty and Service Policy

How manufacturer warranties, custom-build workmanship, diagnosis, service-centre routing, exclusions, and customer responsibilities operate.

Effective: 3 August 2026 · Last reviewed: 3 August 2026

Please read this document with our other linked policies and your final quotation or invoice. Applicable statutory rights prevail where they cannot lawfully be limited.

1. Warranty source and duration

Most branded products carry the manufacturer or authorised distributor warranty stated on the product, invoice, packaging, or manufacturer portal. The applicable provider determines duration, geographic coverage, registration, service location, repair or replacement method, and parts availability.

We assist with valid warranty claims but do not extend a manufacturer warranty unless a separate RJ Digital Alliance warranty is expressly written on the quotation or invoice. Online descriptions are subject to the final product-specific warranty confirmation.

2. Manufacturer service process

Some brands require the customer to contact an authorised service centre directly, obtain a case number or DOA certificate, ship the product, or complete remote diagnosis. We may facilitate the process but cannot guarantee the manufacturer’s decision or turnaround time.

A manufacturer may repair, replace with new or refurbished service stock, provide an equivalent model, replace a component, or issue another remedy under its terms and applicable law.

3. Custom PC builds

Each component retains its own manufacturer warranty. Any assembly or workmanship warranty written on the invoice covers a proven assembly fault for the stated period; it does not replace the separate component warranties or cover unrelated software, data, power, environmental, or customer-caused issues.

A system-level fault may require diagnosis of multiple components. We may repair or replace only the defective component rather than the whole system when that is an effective remedy.

4. Refurbished and open-box warranty

Refurbished, used, renewed, or open-box products carry only the warranty expressly stated for that item. Battery health, cosmetic condition, accessories, packaging, and manufacturer eligibility may differ from new products and are governed by the disclosed grade and invoice.

5. Common exclusions

  • Accident, drops, impact, liquid, corrosion, fire, pests, misuse, improper storage or transport, cosmetic wear, or normal deterioration.
  • Power surge, incorrect voltage, unsuitable adapter or power supply, deficient earthing, electrical fault, blocked ventilation, dust or heat damage, or operation outside manufacturer requirements.
  • Bent socket or connector pins, damaged ports, cracked panels, stripped screws, broken seals where legally relevant, removed serial labels, unauthorised opening, modification, repair, part substitution, mining, unsupported overclocking, or firmware alteration.
  • Malware, operating-system corruption, third-party software, drivers, account lock, forgotten credentials, data loss, network conditions, unsupported accessories, or compatibility outside the confirmed configuration.
  • Consumables, cosmetic variation, battery wear outside stated coverage, dead pixels or acoustic characteristics within manufacturer tolerance, and conditions excluded by the applicable manufacturer terms.

6. Proof, diagnosis, and charges

Provide the invoice or order proof, matching serial number, issue description, and any manufacturer case reference. We may request safe troubleshooting or charge a disclosed diagnostic, collection, on-site, or reinstallation fee where the issue is not covered, no fault is found, or the failure was customer-caused.

Warranty service does not suspend payment, EMI, financing, or other contractual obligations.

7. Data and credentials

Back up and remove confidential data before service. Repair, reset, firmware update, storage replacement, manufacturer processing, or diagnosis may erase data. Data preservation and recovery are not guaranteed unless a separate paid service expressly provides them.

Provide only the minimum device credential needed for the service and change it afterwards. We never need banking credentials, OTPs, UPI PINs, or unrelated account passwords.

8. Turnaround, loaners, and replacement warranty

Service and parts timelines are estimates and may depend on diagnosis, courier, manufacturer approval, imported parts, and stock. A loaner device is not included unless expressly agreed.

A repaired or replaced product continues under the remaining original warranty or the additional period required by the manufacturer or law; replacement does not automatically restart the full original warranty.

9. Statutory rights and contact

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or overrides a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Questions, notices, claims, and grievances may be submitted through the contact channels published in the website footer. Include the relevant order, quotation, invoice, service-ticket, or payment reference. Never send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, CVVs, full card details, or unrelated confidential information.
