People have been asking about the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 9070 16GB GDDR6 Graphics Card at the shop. Rather than repeat a launch write-up, here is what its specification actually commits you to. It runs at Up to 2700 MHz.
The specification
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Architecture | AMD RDNA 4 |
| Boost Clock Speed | Up to 2700 MHz |
| Memory Bus Width | 256-bit |
| Memory Speed | 20 Gbps Effective |
| Stream Processors | 3,584 |
| Typical Board Power (Tbp) | 245W |
What those numbers mean
The 256-bit memory bus is worth reading next to the capacity. Bus width sets how fast the card can reach that memory, and a narrow bus with a large capacity fills up slowly - which is why two cards with the same amount of memory can behave quite differently at higher resolutions.
